MAPPING THE CORE OF THE BODY AND THE PLACES OF BALANCE

  • The weight-bearing spine
  • The balance of the head on the spine
  • The balance of the head and the thorax on the lumbar vertebrae
  • The balance of the torso on the legs
  • The balance of the legs; at the hips, knee, ankle and arch of the foot
  • The balance of the arm structure

 

MAPPING BREATHING

  • The structures of breathing
  • The movement of breathing, including a dynamic, lengthening and gathering core

 

MAPPING ARMS AND LEGS

  • The whole arm
  • The structures and movements as related to playing and singing
