THE BODY MAP: A USEFUL TOOL FOR MUSICIANS
A WORKSHOP FOR PERFORMERS, TEACHERS AND MUSIC STUDENTS
June 24-25, 2016

Class Enrollment Limit: 20
Body Mapping is not technique, it is the basis for technique. The Body Map is our self-representation in our own brain. If the Body Map is accurate, movement is good. If the Body Map is inaccurate, movement is inefficient and can produce injury. The workshop is designed to help each person develop an accurate Body Map and to give teachers and conductors tools to work with their students. Performers will find techniques to make their movements more efficient.
